Training Programmes for building local response-ability:
The 
Catalyst is a registered charity that works with local people to transform deprived communities through COACH (Creating Opportunities And Casting Hope) programmes. COACH is a four-fold strategy, or toolkit, for community transformation:
1. COACH - Community Mentoring strengthens the most vulnerable young people and families living in deprived areas, by coaching them to identify and achieve their goals.
2. COACH - Community Leadership targets young adults at risk of gang membership and develops them as leaders, integrated into and contributing to their communities.
3. COACH - Community Consultancy empowers local people to transform their own communities.
4. Love is a Verb recruits, trains, equips, mobilises and supports volunteers to work with vulnerable people in deprived communities and in other areas of need. Many of them become part of the COACH Community Mentoring programme.
